I bought a K-7 about a month ago, have not had much of a chance to play with it yet, though.

Very nice Brandon. With the HV-30 and this camera added to your collection you will be chasing in first class style.

I was wondering which "lens hood" (brand and model) you have on your HV-30 from your previous posts and pictures? I recently bought one for my HV-40 but was thinking about getting another one in case I need better shading for the lens in bright sunlight.
 
Well you might have the best low light (non FF) camera out there so you will have some fun with it. Just remember that the K-x wasn't weather proofed like the K-7 / 20D / 10D. I had considered that for a backup to my K-7.
