Millenicom and signal booster set up help

Just a little background: during previous years, I've just been tethering my Mac from my iPhone in order to use the internet. I have found that this can become overwhelming in many ways. I used my phone for navigation, communicating with others, source for internet, and it just became way too impractical. Aside from this, I came across one too many instances where I was running 1-2 bars on Edge to no service at all which is not a pleasant experience. There have been times where it was easier to chase with nothing more than my iPhone and the Radarscope app because of the reception issues. Now that I've settled in with my career, I plan on working out these kinks. This year, I'm buying a new PC for GR3, Streets and trips, and a stand-alone GPS unit, etc to name a few.



Now then, I also plan on jumping on board with Millenicom since it's better than actually signing up with Verizon. My questions is about how to actually set this up...I want to use a signal booster. So how would I make this work? The signal booster I had in mind was the Maximum Signal amplifer: http://www.maximumsignal.net/store/product.php?productid=16172&cat=1&page=1

If anyone else has anything like this as their set up or if anyone with knowledge of this stuff can chime in, will the hardwire system work? Do I need to go to a wireless amplifier like this one:

If anyone else has recommendations for a different set up, please feel free to share. The only thing I'm set on is signing up for the Advanced Plan with Millenicom. I also saw a few people using a cradlepoint CTR35 with the Novatel U760 in order to get wireless internet, an idea which I really like but I still don't know how this will work with the hardwired signal booster. Do I need a wireless signal booster kit? Help?

We sell a lot of CA819 kits to Millenicom users. It will do the job for you . The only reason to go wireless is if you wanted to amplifiy multiple devices.

How does it all connect together though? What type of cables and ports does the hardwire Maximum Signal amp come with? I haven't found a picture of all the ports that this amp has. So I'm not really sure that the hardwire kit will work or if I need to look into a wireless amp kit.

I run the same setup you are looking at....Your broadband card plugs into your Cradlepoint router and the external antenna cable goes from the card to your amp.....Here is what my setup looks like.

All you need is the Ca819 kit and the adapter cable for your device . Adapter cables are available on site . Very simple hook up . Takes 5 minutes at the most

Thanks for the replies guys! Jim, that picture is exactly what I needed and explains it all for me. What kind of Cradlepoint device are you using? I may have to copy your set up since it's exactly what I need.
