• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

For the past few months, Meta has stopped actioning DMCA takedowns sent for stolen content on their platforms. They're sending out this response to takedown requests:

I have a rights management agency handling my videos. They have sent 3 takedowns for a reupload of one of my videos on January 7 that had 7 million views. It now has 11 million views and is still up. I've sent 2 takedowns for it, and get the above response. This is one of many we are seeing this happen with. Takedowns for other videos (there are countless others) sent within the past 2 months have not been actioned.

If you are also having this problem, please let me know.

I recently submitted a copyright dispute to a guy who was using one of my Akron tornado photos for his "business page" back on February 12. He had put his logo and other text over my image and was using it to promote his page (particularly on the Chaser Summit posts on FB). I had some email back and forth with Facebook, and it was pretty quickly resolved. Judging by the two-word email the guy sent me this morning and the lack of any of his posts or page showing up, I would assume Facebook removed the picture, if not the entire page.

This was the last reply I got from Facebook via email on Feb 12...

"Thanks for contacting us. We removed the content you reported for violating Facebook's Terms of Service or Instagram's Terms of Use. We understand this action to resolve your intellectual property issue."

I'm not sure when the content/page may have ultimately been taken down. But as I mentioned, the page creator emailed me this morning a two-word message, so I would assume it happened somewhat recently?

Not sure this is specifically related to you issue, but I wanted to pass along that my dispute has gone through. Good luck!
