Lightning Photos

I'm far from what anyone would call a 'professional' photographer but I do love taking photos and over the last few years I've managed to snap a fair number of lightning photos from various locations in Colorado and Oklahoma and I thought I'd post a few here to share. Do enjoy.

Good start Matt. One nice thing about lightning, you almost never have to travel far. When you can, invest in a good tripod.

Thanks John. Funny enough, the lack of a tripod is how I've managed to capture a number of these photos. For that second photo 'Lightning Bolt 23' I had my camera pointed nearly straight up. What I would need to invest in though is a decent camera. I currently use a pretty decent point-and-shoot Canon, but it doesn't allow for manual settings that would help me capture better shots.
