I thought this was pretty entertaining. Someone posted this on the spotternetwork as high winds. They better be glad they don't live in the TX Panhandle because they would be some very busy chasers with lots and lots of high wind reports.

Yeah. I have seen that in the Southeast too from time to time.
What is the speed of the average sneeze, something like 40mph? I guess I need a wind icon.

After a few Allsups burritos there are quite a few chasers that could fit in the high wind catagory! Maybe even a few wet microbursts or at least a good rear flank downdraft!

I admit it, I'm in the very category you described David.

Wow, maybe it's a mistake.

I reported a sudden burst in sustained winds from 20 to 45 last night of course I was pretty blind out there at the time and we was under a tornado warning. I'm not sure were that report is from but I'm sure it wasn't me.

There is a strict no Taco Bell rule for those on the chase with me.

The only thing worse than being stuck with storms that gust out and become outflow dominant...

is being stuck with chasers that do the same thing.
