I was browsing AmbientWeather's website a few days ago, and noticed some cool new offerings in their weather station selection.
They are now offering IP weather stations that feature a direct connection to the Internet, so you don't have to route them through your PC. Great idea if you want to save some processing power, or don't want to dedicate a machine.
