WINDS 50 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 70 MPH.
.TONIGHT...EXTREMELY WINDY WITH PERIODS OF SNOW AND LOCAL BLIZZARD
CONDITIONS IN THE EVENING. AFTER MIDNIGHT A CHANCE OF SNOW OR
FREEZING RAIN. LOWS 25 TO 35. SOUTHEAST WINDS 50 MPH GUSTING TO 70
MPH DECREASING AFTER MIDNIGHT.

Batten down the hatches and polar bears...rugged weather for sure !!

The NWS is forecasting gusts of 85-100 mph in some of the higher elevations around Anchorage.

Polar Bears love this weather! They just get downwind of a blowhole and catch a seal as it goes rolling down the ice! <actually, I have no idea, but it sounded good>
