Last year on this date I was getting ready to depart to fly with the USAF Reserves Hurricane Hunters into Hurricane Bill. However, one thin I never did get from the flight was the actual path we flew. I have some video of the screen from inside the plane, but with the bumpy ride the video crabs stink, and there really is no reference to land.

Does anyone know where to find archives of the flight paths of previous Hurricane Hunter flights, in particular USAF flights? My flight was the one that took off from Andrew's Air Force Base near DC (home of Air Force One) and returned to the same, sampling Hurricane Bill off the coast of New England.

Appreciate any help.

Did you fly as a scientist or an Air Force meteorologist cause I met with an AF recruiter earlier this month and she said there is such a thing as "combat meteorology" which is essentially the Hurrican Hunters. She said its part of the Special Forces. She gave me an outline of the physical fitness test thats required to join the Special Forces and it was a killer. Unless your a physical freak of nature that started off bodybuilding in grade school, you almost have no chance
