My name is Sarah Glenn and I'm originally from Wichita, Kan. I finally moved to Norman, Okla., in August 2006 to attend OU for meteorology <gasp> and am also minoring in GIS. I hope to graduate in 2010, if things continue to go well. Better late than never, I guess.
I have been a weather freak since I was 5 years old (at least) and have just become more serious about chasing in the past 4 years or so. After about 20 or so chases and many miles, I finally netted my first tornado sighting with the Fort Supply, Okla., storm on 5/23/08 and then another 4 on 5/24/08 with the monster in N. Okla.
I plan to continue chasing for the rest of my life, whether that means tornadoes, hurricanes, or even snowstorms. I have been lurking on ST for a while, and have learned a lot from reading forecasts and discussions already. I plan to continue to learn and can hopefully develop better forecasting skills because of it. Thanks, everyone!
