Hail Pile Up in TX Panhandle

That's pretty amazing!!!! I remember this happening just a few years ago SE of Amarillo...but if memory serves it was nothing like this...........maybe a foot or so of hail, not 4 ft.
 
We've been hearing that some firefighters went into the Canadian River (there's an access area just off of 287) and were finding 6-8ft drifts of hail. Local NWS went out today to survey and they found baseball sized hail embedded in these mini-glaciers. Quite an interesting event. The storm didn't look too bad either!
