• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Hey guys! So I need some major help with my grlevel3. I have had the software on my computer for about a year now, it was working great until I had my laptop sent off for repairs. The computer came back and now grlevel3 will not access any radar, just keeps retrying the site every minute. The twist is, if I use just the wireless from my computer, it won't work, but once I go to my alltell card, it works! Any ideas what is going on???

Thanks!

Mike,

Your best bet is to ask Mike directly on the GRLevel3 Owners Forum -> http://www.grlevelx.com/owners/index.php . My hunch is that there is a problem with caching, but I know I've run across similar questions on the Owners Forum. Of course, seeking help here is, presumably, just fine, but I figured I'd let you know of the Owner's Forum in the case that you didn't know of it.

Thanks Jeff! I've unfortunately tried a number of times to receive a login and password for the Owners forum, but never received any confirmation e-mail :(

Bobby, I've seen that before, but when I registered on the user's forum, I never received any sort of e-mail from them... I'm just shooting blanks with this! lol

My guess is that your antivirus software's firewall or Windows Firewall is blocking GRLevel3's access to the internet. You need to tell your firewall to let grlevel3.exe through.

About the email, make sure that you place grlevelx.com on your email "whitelist" or allowed senders list, especially if you're using one of those free email accounts (eg. gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc.). Most of the free email servers will put phpBB3-generated email into your spam folder.

I have same problem, and have had for about a year now; when I got a new computer, Level3 stopped working on my home connection, though as soon as I go to my mobile connection it works fine, never really was much of a problem because I only really use it while on the road...
