• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

Ciao Andrea, thanks for sharing that video. I found it very touching.

Grazie.

Good stuff Andrea! It's amazing of how many residents have such positive attitudes and every one I've ever talked to, is very thankful of the generosity of strangers. I was there last weekend, the first time since July 4th, and the town looked a LOT better with a lot of smiles on their faces everywhere we went. There is still a long ways to go, but a lot of progress is being made.

I made a documentary as well, of when we went back to visit Daniel, a Mennonite man who we found waiving his hands for help 6 miles south of Greensburg that night. His farm was completely destroyed. After navigating through debris and lifting powerlines up over my car, we were able to get out of the debris path west of 183 and drive him to a friend's house.

He tells some amazing stories, and talks about his conversation with President Bush. I talk to him about every week or so and he's doing well, but lives in New Mexico now and works as a ranch hand. He'll be back for wheat harvest in June and we plan on helping him on the combines (as Darin, Derek and I used to work on farms) or drive grain trucks for him.

Yes,Dick I was impressed by those words. Scott, recently told me there are over 100 new homes that have been built or are in the process of being built. The city has agreed on a master plan for the design of the new city.

All new city buildings will be built to the highest levels of "green" standards to minimize the ecological impact and to set a good example for the rest of the world. Many exciting things are happening in Greensburg. The high school has put together temporary facilities to be able to continue to have school for this year. They will be building a new high school and it will be state-of-the-art and also will be built to the highest levels of "green" standards.
