Just out of curiousity does anyone know what the height of the cloudtops were for the Greensburg supercell on 5/4/07. I just find this storm facinating in general not just because of the very large tornadoes it produced but due to it's incredible intensity as a whole. This storm seemed to produce an awful lot of lightning as well that I have noticed in the videos of this event. Thanks!:)

I'll check and get right back to you.

Highest I see on GR2AE ET is 57kft, around 50kft at it's weaker points and 57kft at it's peak, averaging around 55kft.

Taken near Greensburg during the timeframe of the 2 mile wide wedge.

It was very active towards the beginning and end and after portion of the Greensburg tornado. But there was a period there, where it was quiet electrically. Also, I recall very little CG lightning.

Thanks Scott!
I appreciate your answer to my inquiry and that is a beautiful photo of the storm and the lightning. :)
