GOES Data Outage

Looks like forecasters get to prove how good they are without totally integrated model data. Just saw NCEP issue a statement regarding the satellite data outage in reference to forecast accuracy. Seems the NAM and GFS took a hit as a result which may have them spitting out funky forecasts due to no satellite data being added. NAM is least likely to suffer from that - it's more of a long range issue.
