The passing of Tim Samaras, son Paul, and Carl Young have left us shaken, saddened, and grieving. Their legacy of research, fearless pursuit of knowledge, and immeasurable wisdom and professionalism leaves this community deep in their debt, and with a void that cannot entirely be filled.
Now is not the time to discuss the future, but when that time comes, let us come together here to find a way to continue forward, so that their efforts and their advancements are not forgotten and in vain.
