• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

The Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM is an ultra wide angle zoom for APS-C (crop body) sensors - ie. your T1i/T2i/T3i, 40d/50d/60d, etc:

There are a lot of chasers that have chosen this lens as their primary lens, but Mike Hollingshead's site has some of the better examples of what this lens can do in the hands of a skilled photographer. The wide end of this zoom is particularly nice when you're underneath amazing structure and just have to fit every last piece of detail in. If you're not familiar with this lens, read some reviews - it has a solid, hefty construction and image quality that belies the lack of Canon's 'L' designation.

The lens is in great condition, with no visible or known defects. I am the second owner, the original owner wanted a wide lens for shooting groups of people, and realized that the 'ultra' wide part of this lens distorted people too much and wasn't what he was looking for. This lens is a landscape photographer's dream though! I've unfortunately really only used it on one chase, so it hasn't seen much use from me.

I am asking for $650, which includes shipping to CONUS locations, Canon lens hood, back lens cap, front cap (Tamron), polarizing filter, and UV filter.

So why am I selling it, if it's such a great lens? I need to move to a different, lighter footprint system (M4/3 mirrorless) for the types of photography that I want to focus on. Below is a picture taken by this lens on it's sole chase. It would like to see more weather from a new owner if possible:
