• After witnessing the continued decrease of involvement in the SpotterNetwork staff in serving SN members with troubleshooting issues recently, I have unilaterally decided to terminate the relationship between SpotterNetwork's support and Stormtrack. I have witnessed multiple users unable to receive support weeks after initiating help threads on the forum. I find this lack of response from SpotterNetwork officials disappointing and a failure to hold up their end of the agreement that was made years ago, before I took over management of this site. In my opinion, having Stormtrack users sit and wait for so long to receive help on SpotterNetwork issues on the Stormtrack forums reflects poorly not only on SpotterNetwork, but on Stormtrack and (by association) me as well. Since the issue has not been satisfactorily addressed, I no longer wish for the Stormtrack forum to be associated with SpotterNetwork.

I apologize to those who continue to have issues with the service and continue to see their issues left unaddressed. Please understand that the connection between ST and SN was put in place long before I had any say over it. But now that I am the "captain of this ship," it is within my right (nay, duty) to make adjustments as I see necessary. Ending this relationship is such an adjustment.

For those who continue to need help, I recommend navigating a web browswer to SpotterNetwork's About page, and seeking the individuals listed on that page for all further inquiries about SpotterNetwork.

From this moment forward, the SpotterNetwork sub-forum has been hidden/deleted and there will be no assurance that any SpotterNetwork issues brought up in any of Stormtrack's other sub-forums will be addressed. Do not rely on Stormtrack for help with SpotterNetwork issues.

    Sincerely, Jeff D.

ford Alton F650...Yeah Baby!

Could you imagine? That would be the ultimate - plus it appears to already have flashy lights all over it for those who are into that!
Nice find, Kem!

Yea, a monstrosity like that almost NEEDS lightbars to achieve it's full Redneck Rampage potential.
Throw in a Bud-Light dispenser and Bumper Dumper, and you'll be golden!

Why stop there.

Oh....come on....why stop there....I'd go full out....why spend $200,000 when you can spend $1.2 Million on something like this:

and it even comes with it's own run-about:

Funny you should mention this. I just saw my first 2009 F-650 Pickup in Elm Creek, NE on Saturday. It had Platte Valley Motors (Lexington, NE) plates on it. Quite bodacious. It looked similar to this:

I see these vehicles and think to myself, "At what point should a person be required to have a CDL to drive one of these things?"

Good day,

Many of these XUV (such as the Alton) are basically a converted truck chassis (F650) where the bed does not exist and a "custom" cab has been installed in it's place.

I have seen these F-650 trucks many times, often with a "dog" (not the animal - a mini semi-trailer hitch coupling) in the bed for latching a large trailer, usually race cars / horse transport.

Basically, the chassis is the same (like the Ford Explorer "Trac" versus the SUV = same chassis), just different "stuff" built on-top of it (such as a 6-door luxury ride).

I have seen the F-650 6 door in person at the '08 Tulsa State Fair and it is really BAD AZZ
