Feature Request: Spotter Network in Canada

Peter MacDonald

Has expanding Spotter Network into Canada ever been considered? There are already a number of spotters north of border, and I feel like having a way to instantly report severe weather conditions could help improve our warning system, at least if Environment Canada is willing to work with it. At present, the only way to contact Environment Canada is by phone or tagging on social media (unless you are part of CANWARN). Canada has a significant severe weather season from May to September and typically sees over 100 tornadoes per year.
