Earthquake surface rupture captured on hi-res security camera in Myanmar

Video of fault surface rupture was captured on a high-resolution security camera during the M7.9 earthquake on March 28, 2025 in Sagaing, Myanmar. This was a transform fault earthquake, similar to those on the San Andreas Fault, where fault movement is mostly horizontal:

This was not the first earthquake surface rupture captured on camera. That goes to the February 6, 2018 M6.4 Hualien, Taiwan earthquake where thrust (vertical fault movement) surface rupture was captured:

I saw this and was fascinated. I think they may have been more specific about the first, maybe they should have said strike/slip but I am not sure if other strike slips have been captured like this. but that thrust video? wow.
