Droid GPS question....

I have a Motorola Droid with GPS/Navigation. My question is this, is there a way to use the GPS signal from my phone in conjunction with GRLevel or another type of radar software? It would be nice to be able to look at one display for radar and location.

Just get a GPS puck. I don't think there's a way to use the one on the Droid.

I use the droid as well. I talked with a GPS app developer for the android OS and he was very interested in writing a program to do this. Problem is he said until the 2.1 OS came to all android phones he wouldn't attempt to write the app because it's only possible under the newer version OS.

NEMA output over the USB is possible (according to him) now we just need coders willing to do the programming.

thanks for the info guys. I'm surprised someone hasn't tackled this yet. I guess I'll have to buy one of those attachments for now.
