This is going to be both good and bad. I can see idiots flying their drones anywhere they want. DJI says their drones will still "give a dismissible warning" in controlled airspace and (TFR's?). I always use B4UFLY to check airspace before flying.
I would caution chasers to make sure you are clear before takeoff: "DJI suggests that technologies like Remote ID, which publicly broadcasts the location of a drone and their operator during flight, are “providing authorities with the tools needed to enforce existing rules." I would not want to get busted. The FAA has some really harsh penalties.
