Cool video of a tornado over a market

Yesterday 2 tornadoes touched down near Bagnolo in North Italy. We are still in progress to rate the damage. After a preliminary rating of the kind of damage it could have reached EF1 intensity.

This tornado impacted over a market and did a lot of damage. The surveillance camera videotaped a really interesting video of the inside of the market. Enjoy it.

I am glad there were no reports of injuries. Thanks for posting. Amazing video. The surveillance camera video is great. It shows the importance of staying away from windows and seeking cover during a storm.

Sure! It's perfect to understand the reason why you have to stay in the center: at the end of the video you just see all the structure close to the window breaking down and falling down. If someone stayed over there probably he could be dead.

That's a rarity in Italy, it's the first time that a surveillance camera videotapes something like this.

Wow, Andrea--that is an amazing tornado and terrific footage. I especially like the still pictures that were turned into a slideshow on the first link you have. The vortex at one point faces the camera end-on and you can see "inside" the tornado. Very nice. Really a beautiful sight.
