cool kinky dust devil footage

I found this brief dust devil footage from Conn. Very cool and "kinky". This is the first time I've seen this type of structure in a dust devil.

Not my idea of "kinky video" but it's a cool dust devil, especially for CT. I don't think the shape is really all that unusual, however. I suspect the "kink" is mostly just perspective - the video is looking almost straight up at the thing. From a distance you would probably just see a modest curve in the vortex.

Cool video. The 'kink' is an illusion similar to the kinks, loops and knots in lightning in that it is a matter of perspective - looking at a section of the path that is perpendicular to the observer's view.
