I'm actually humbled, totally surprised and appreciative at the same time. I have an idea of who 2 or 3 of the 21 votes were, but the other 18 or 19 I'm actually clueless as to who they would be but thank you so much. My wife twisted my arm to try again after bombing out last fall because she knows how much chasing and weather mean to me.

You're right on with the tools Adam as they will be much needed!

I can see why Bart received the most votes honestly. After what he did on May 22nd helping the stuck chasers out of the field he showed his true colors and my hat is off to him. I hope I can walk in the footsteps of the previous moderators as I certainly have big shoes to fill!

There were 232 votes with 17 abstentions. The four elected moderators for 7/1/2010 to 12/31/2010 are:
- Bart Comstock with 49 votes
- Jesse Risley with 34 votes
- Karla Dorman with 23 votes
- Mark Blue with 21 votes

Congratulations to our new representatives... it looks like we will get the benefit from a diverse range of backgrounds and experience. The four selections represent 55% of those who voted.

The four appointed moderators will be announced in the next couple of weeks.

Congratulations to those members. A well rounded team indeed.
