The NWS in Lubbock did a nice damage survey and report for the - 6/15/08 "wet macroburst" event in Childress, TX. The pictures of the descending "blob" are pretty fascinating. The resultant damage is amazing.

Texas Tech has some more info and damage pics as well. Check out the radar loop on there as well showing the core of the storm maxing out just prior to hitting Childress..probably the big "blob" of precip loaded up in the upper part of the storm.
