It appears as though Canon gives you a limited 30 parts/labor warranty. Newegg has a better RMA/return process.

I bought one from Newegg. Looks brand new to me.

As good of a deal as that is, I can't bring myself to pay that much after Sears had the HV20 on clearance for $200. Missed that one by 20 minutes. Nice.

Sorry to step out of the subject of the forum, but that's absolutely shocking. They still ebay for very high prices, so I wouldn't be surprised if a few savvy employees had their hands (or got their friends to put their hands) on plenty of these for that price. Wow.
