I suspect I may get pointed toward other threads along the same topic, but after 2 hours of digging through search results on the forum, I haven't found anything.

What are some of your favorite Chasing/Severe Weather related blogs?

While we're on the subject of favorites, I just saw the thread about 'Warnings' being released in May. I've already picked up my pre-order for that one. I've also read Big Weather. Are there any other good books that aren't text books (already got plenty of those!) regarding severe weather or chasing you'd recommend?

Lets hear it!

Big Weather by Mark Svenvold is a good book. I have that one. I have the big green book and it's update coming to me by Thomas P Gruzualis and I also have a book on the Great Hurricane of 1938 coming. I have several books that talk about the weather and the one I enjoyed reading the most was Christopher C. Burt's "Extreme Weather". I highly recomend that book to anyone wanting to read the most interesting facts and records about the weather. I do have a book about Mike Hollingsheads and Eric Nyguyen's chases that is easy to read with lot's of photographs. That is a good book.

I really liked "Big Weather" :) I also found Nancy Mathis' book "Storm Warning" very interesting.

I've found Tim Vasquez' Storm Chasing Handbook to be very informative, it is in my laptop bag all the time!

I liked Jon Davies' "Storm Chasers! On the Trail of Twisters" kids book. I gave it to my then 11 year old niece (who loves science, yay!!!) this past Christmas. I got the best glare from my sister for that! But someone has to be the crazy aunt...

I'm still gleefully slogging through lots of homepages and blogs. I suppose the one nice thing about being a "newbie" is that everything is so bright and shiny!

I have Tim V's Storm Chasing Handbook second edition and I recomend that book to anyone wanting to learn about the weather.
