Will Autonet Mobile work with my existing cell phone carrier?
Autonet Mobile is an Internet Service Provider and does not work with your existing carrier. You will need to subscribe to our service in order to take advantage of having a Wi-Fi hotspot in your car.
How much does it cost?
The Autonet Mobile In-Car Router retails for $399 with a monthly subscription of $49.95 for unlimited data.

High speed access ranges from 600Kbps-800Kbps. Upload speeds about 200Kbps.
Does Autonet Mobile provide a secure connection?
Your Wi-Fi connection is secured with WEP encryption, MAC address restriction or WAN port restriction. Also supports VPN pass-through.
What OS do I need?
Autonet Mobile is compatible with all Operating Systems supporting Wi-Fi including Windows, Mac, Linux and Solaris.
Which devices will work with Autonet Mobile?
Any Wi-Fi enable device will work with Autonet Mobile including: desktops, laptops, PDAs, servers, PSPs, Wi-Fi phones and more…..
Do I need special software to use Autonet Mobile?
Special software is not needed to use Autonet Mobile. Simply connect your Wi-Fi device to Autonet Mobile and surf.
Do I need to have an exterior antenna installed on my car?
Additional antennas are not required to use Autonet Mobile. The In-Car Router already has an antenna.
What is the connection range for Autonet Mobile?
You can connect from up to 100 feet away.
Is special installation required?
Special installation is not required. Simply plug the Autonet Mobile In-Car Router into your cigarette car lighter, connect and surf. You can store the In-Car router under your seat, in the glove compartment or in your trunk.

Looks like they've incorporated a receiver that will work on both the 3G and 2.5G... CMDA, CDPD, GSM, etc. Kind of a "combination"-type card that will work on all of the data providers, sharing services such as Cingular, Sprint, Verizon, Alltel, etc. Might be a good deal, but I think I'll stick with my Sprint card for now - seems to work well while on the Sprint or Alltel networks.
