Australia Storm Chase - 28th Nov Forbes to Lithgow

This will be the last chase report for a while as I am back at work...

This day we had the whole evolution of a storm from high based rubbish to a severe green monster.

This chase could have ended badly too as a sheet of roof iron just misses the car. Best watched in 1080 HD. Halfway through the video I have slow motioned that section and the roof iron was not the only debri in the sky.

Although near 10 mins long the video has has been heavily edited and narrated almost right through.

The pic below is not very clear as I was down to 1/8th second shutter speed and even though I was at wide angle the guster extends much wider

Nice work. For me it would be worth a trip to Australia to see some weather. Getting bored here in the south-central continental USA.

Too expensive, when the Aussi dollar was worth 65cents US it was a bargain, but now its worth $1.04 US and the cost of living here is far more expensive. Go to Argentina instead !
