We did some damage assessments for the NWS in Dane, Iowa and Rock county today.

Could not confirm tornado near Ridgeway in IA county.

Could not confirm tornado North of Madison near Deforest/Morrisonville.

Could not confirm tornado near Stoughton, but team going back Saturday to
check out new reports.

Edgerton seems to have had a small tornado. Team found some crop damage, mail boxes etc. Looks like an F0

Could not confirm tornado in or near Milton.

That was our day today after Thursday with its funnels, wall clouds and tons of rain etc. Had a 24 hour total of 4.68" here in DeForest, but some spots to our East got almost twice that in a shorter period of time.

I think many folks got excited and called some funnels tornadoes.

Didn't even have any hail reports out of this for the most part.

Great pics Chris and thanks for helping out Mr. Pritchard. I saw
your report come over the wire in MKX....

Tim, from what I saw out in the field I am not surprised on your report. There was a ton of scud on these storms and lots of stuff that could be mistaken for funnel clouds or tornadoes. However, from what I saw, the rotation/organization of at least two of the tornado warned storms was not that great.

Updated.

Did find some damage today near Stoughton that indicated a small weak possible EF0.
This damage report was a late submission. Thus it was assessed this morning.

Same with Milton... Awaiting review of supplied data to NWS and ruling.
