Here's what it looked like closer to the buildings.

Your first picture must be the one that hit as I was just about to set up. Visually it was great but really made me jump. I was disappointed they weren't hitting the buildings like I had wished.Plus the rain was starting as the lightning moved over downtown. I wish I had stayed at the park instead.

Joseph's photos were shot from the hill at 61st and Sheridan. There is a vacant lot behind some office buildings.
