HP Storm Structure East of Dumas
Developing storm west of Dumas and south of Channing. Initially the updraft base was high. Low cumulus developed under the base and eventually rose into the storm base, resulting in a lowered storm base eventually.
Still west of Dumas, as the storm became rooted in the boundary layer:
Storm structure east of Dumas, Texas.
Close-up of a developing mesocyclone, east of Dumas:
Close-up detail of a partial occlusion of the aforementioned mesocyclone by a wet RFD punch:
It's interesting how similar the storm structure was on June 12, 13 and 14.
