5D MK II FIRMWARE UPDATE !!!!!

Attention Canon users..... the long-awaited firmware update, to allow selectable video recording frame rates, for the Canon 5D Mark II, is now available !!!


It's on the Japan and UK websites for Canon now, available for download. And it will be available on the USA website probably by midnight or so.

Visit the Canon website(s) to get the free update.

They've added another firmware update...2.0.7.

I read a lot about banding issues on the 5D II compared to other DSLR, mostly just when pushed a lot. According to canon rumors there's something in this firmware update to fix that as well:

Regarding 2.0.7
According to Canon RCC Nordic, the new firmware also fixed some banding issues with the 5D Mark II and firmware 2.0.4.
