Tornado warning in Harper County,KS with funnel cloud reported. Storms expected to intensify through afternoon...

Lots of clearing in SW Oklahoma with Capes now running AoA 4000j/kg. I don't think we're going to see that cold front/outflow/dryline (whatever they are calling it right now) retreat too much west today. Either way, I'm targeting SW Oklahoma so sitting at home for the next few might seem prudent for now to watch trends....

Woke up this morning to tornado warnings south of Alva (where we stayed). And while repositioning south we nearly were going to let a storm run over us but then we noticed it said 3" hail. =) Did get a daytime lightning shot:

Same thought/observation as yesterday, but 120 miles further south. Early cells going up from Big Spring, TX, past Sayre, OK, up to Fort Supply, OK. I am virtually now in Sayre, watching to see how things sort out for a little while. The storm(s) just to the west of Sayre are my current faves because they look to be in a position to interact with the extreme ne Panhandle boundary.

19:35Z: I would now be targeting the train of cells near Strong City, OK. They're out a little ahead of the pack. Chase movement-wise that would be I-40 east to OK34 north.

Does anyone else notice that the cell in Harmon county, OK, seems to be turning right just a tad. I have been watching it for a bit and is the one that me and chase partner are goign to try to get on. Anyone's input is appreciated.

That one looks pretty good on radar and I personally wouldn't hang around for the next one where you are. It looks a little bit bowish to my un-expert eye, but that's certainly not a fatal condition at this time of day with these dynamics. FWIW. Good luck all and stay safe.

Is anyone on that cell down here in Coke county Texas just north of San Angelo? That looks like a monstorous cell with somehwat of a hook to it...Would like to here a report if so!

For the life of me, I cannot ever remember seeing storm tops (anvil blowoff) travel NORTHWESTWARD !!! Are my eyes playing tricks on me? Look at the visible over TX / OK.
EDIT @ 7:07pm - isolated convection now finally going up in central OK, on what appears to be an outflow boundary from cells to the west. Not sure how well they will sustain themselves as our CAPE values plummet, but might be interesting for the next hour or so.

About to be a tornado watch issued over my area here north of Tulsa. Thunderstorms rapidly developing as I speak. Supercells with tornadoes expected. Very sticky out..

Cell just east of me Tor-warned. Looks like a small cell, but definitely can see rotation on BV. Too darn late and dark to mess with it. For safety's sake, I hope it dies out.

Gees, spoke to soon, this cell has EXPLODED with a monster hook and some impressive velocities. Spotter reports of a tornado on the ground north of Seminole, OK. Please, not again !!! What's with all these night tornadoes? :-(

LARGE TORNADO now reported on the ground in northern Seminole County, OK !!! Little, Prague, OK in the path!
I have a house on the east side of Norman, OK - can verify lightning has just gone crazy in this storm in the past 10 minutes.
Scary situation when these things just pop up at night!

No!!!!! Damage now being reported from the town of Little, OK. No other news or confirmations. Getting this info via TV media.
Prague and Paden, OK continue to be in the potential path of this tornado.

What is really strange is that the storm is at the very least on the fringes of the slight risk if not outside of it so its not like this was expected even a couple of hours ago. Definitely a dangerous situation unfolding across E Oklahoma tonight...

Outflow boundary appeared to initiate these storms about two hours ago. Now, they appear to be riding that boundary in a northerly track, with localized enhanced helicities via backed surface winds over much of Oklahoma.

Suspicious looking area southwest of Sapulpa as well.

Looks like a new red box might be due out for South Central Oklahoma into SW Oklahoma for possible isolated supercell development. Definitely conducive for tornadic activity tonight but I sure don't like the timing of the possible event if it happens. Should be plenty of lightning if anyone is feeling dangerous and wants to do some night chasing.

EDIT: Red Box is out for Southern/Central Oklahoma.
