Sitting at the Super 8 Motel in Wakeeney KS gathering up some data. About to head west on 70 then south from Grainfield to try and meet up with the storms.

Its interesting too see how the Gove county is in the game again on the same day, just different year (remember 5/22-23/2008?).

A new SVR warning is out over eastern Logan/western Gove county now. Both cells are now intensifying, looks like it'll get interesting soon.

Good luck and stay safe all out there today!

EDIT: That Pecos, TX sup has a nice looking hook! Cells are now rapidly fiting along the dryline all the way from Se CO down across the E NM as well.

Yes, very interesting indeed. I lost a lot of my camping stuff at the KOA that year. I am just west of Dighton, this thing developed fast. Been in Ness City just waiting. Looks like another active night.

New TOR BACA County CO. that one fired Quick!

Edit: looks like some rotation on the storm East of Oakley, KS almost on top of I-70

There have been multiple tornado reports on the latest cell near GLD. I'm having trouble receiving chaser streams, but I was getting Markus Pfister's for a bit and the cloud motion was impressive in that area, though I did not see a tornado.
