Tornado warning issued for Chaves,NM. Due to expire 4:45 MDT. Note the well defined J-hook just west of Roswell. Showing signs of fast, tight circulation.

Very good rotation on the radar loop, looks to be going east-north-east. Just south-east of Roswell at 22:58utc (4:58mdt)

I just saw TWC open the 9pm show to a tornado in NM today. Just heard it came in from a local TV station in Roswell.

My WxWorx receiver came in today, and the first thing I did was zoom in on the NM convection just to test the system. The 'shear' display was showing an area of strong rotation SW of Roswell, and soon after a warning was issued. I later saw the reports of tornadoes in that area.
