Tornado warned cell heading for Melbourne area, think I'll check it out. I think if I go south a bit and then over to 192 might be a good shot. Or might wait and see about catching it closer to the beach.

Should probably add SC and NC to the list. Several reported tornadoes now, one indicating significant damage near Lexington, NC and I-85. Charlotte is about to get walloped by another storm, as a storm a few hours ago passed over and produced a tornado just west of the city at 2140 UTC.

The cell southeast of Sparta, South Carolina has a nice little hook and TVS on radar.

The cell near Abbeville is very interesting. A fast left mover the started well south of Augusta. It has been showing an anti cyclonic rotation for about an half hour. No tornado warning with it but it isn't that often you see such a strong left mover. We had one in SW Arkansas last year that produced an ef2 tornado on April 9th. Here is a link to a couple of radar grabs from my blog.

Looks like another strong cell produced a tornado and moved over the Sparta area. I don't know if it touchdown there but the cell is now east of them and looks to still have strong rotation.
