Nice day along and north of I-70 in Kansas with the Storm Chaser Coaching Founders' Tour group. We intercepted a developing storm near or northwest of Lincoln which eventually intensified into a severe-warned supercell. It remained quite high-based (as expected due to limited moisture), but had some nice structure at times and as darkness set in the lightning show became quite spectacular. It was frequent enough that I was able to capture a few bolts with my handheld DSLR just by setting it to 1/10 shutter and snapping like mad.
