I fell in love on Valentine’s Day. My first chase of the year yielded a nice supercell and possibly a brief tornado NW of Houston. In the vicinity of Hockley I witnessed a small wall cloud with a possible funnel just off Hwy. 290. I then saw a nice funnel cloud at 5:20 p.m. Then I outraced the whale’s mouth heading towards Cypress. I saw definite rain curtains crossing 290. I managed to stay out ahead of the storm when I saw a possible tornado in the last picture to the left of the lamppost.
