While out with a non-chaser friend in Oklahoma City, I noticed some storms going up around Mustang and El Reno and started driving west with him. Immediately after setting up my camera in Mustang, a bolt struck too close and I had to fall back east to safely get a good view of the strengthening multicell complex. While horizon visibility was really good near Will Rogers Airport, it was nearly impossible to find a good place to park, and I eventually had to settle for the side of the road on Regina Ave near SW 74th. This was my first chase with my new R100, and this is how the pictures came out.
It was a very low-intensity chase compared to some of my others, but it was still a nice few hours out.
