I caught a couple of strong storms (copious hail producers) on May 11 northeast of Pagosa Springs, CO. These storms covered U.S. 160 with about an inch of hail, causing traffic problems. I also caught some nice storm structure and cloud motion with the first storm. A nice local outing in a year when long-distance chasing does not appear to be in the cards for me. I have now completed a full report of my observations of the storms including photos, video, and discussion of the meteorological setup and my observations of the storms. You can access it at:
