Good day all,
Apart from the plains, a nice little mini "supercell" storm affected Miami-Dade county in southern Florida - Thanks to some seabreeze and boundary interactions in a high CAPE environment. One nice anticyclonic funnel formed on one of the storms, clearly rotating clockwise in NW Miami. The funnel did not touch the ground, but the storm produced hail to 1".
Above: Area of clockwise rotation in storm base looking south and southwest. This was on the south side of an RFD like feature and the CCW (Northern) portion did not produce anything except a wall cloud as it got undercut.
Above: Funnel forms a few minutes later, rotating clockwise. View is SSW.
Above: Closeup of the anticyclonic funnel.
Above: The backside of the same storm as it continues off to the SE (NW flow aloft). View is SW.
