I chased the Springfield, CO supercell. Even though the storm was high based it definitely was cool with lots of cg from the base and some structure. The slow storm speed and high elevation definitely had it's allure and was a nice break from the faster moving storms. The rest of the evening I chased some other storms getting caught in some strong downdraft and hail. Ended up in Garden City for the night.

I chased some local storms around Amarillo. They blew up pretty quickly, but died off soon after. Still managed to get some good structure shots. It was very odd because the storms would split, and the left split became dominant, while the right split would soon die off. I'm interested to know why this happens.
