Started off outside of Amarillo, watching storms fire off the dryline then die off. After poking around the cores of these things...we finally got a storm to go dominant near Panhandle, TX. I dove south of town to get some structure shots and was treated nicely to an LP supercell to the north. After a few minutes we joined back up behind the storm and watched it evolve into a low top supercell. After the sun went down we tried coring the storms but couldn't get anything good out of them. We chased this storm up until Briscoe, TX...where the SVR warning was dropped and the storm died. All in all not a bad day for such a marginal chase setup.

Here's the video from yesterday; includes us coring the storm, and getting some timelapse of the structure south of Panhandle. Couple of notes...I left my 2 fails of the day in the video, just for kicks. Also, the audio from the timelapse is what we were hearing from that location. We had a pack of coyotes about 1/4 mile away as they howled at our presence.
