EF2
Intercepted the EF-3 tornado that struck Dexter in Southeast Michigan during quite a surprising and unusual event for the state. Left Jackson, MI at 5pm and intercepted the storm with the tornado already down 25 minutes later. I videoed the storm from the intersection of Island Lake Dr and Island Hills Dr, about half a mile south of the tornado, just west of Dexter for a few minutes. During that time the tornado was mostly stationary with a slight westward drift. After a bit, it became rain wrapped and golf ball sized hail started to fall, I bailed east and then south and never caught visual again.
