Well, this time the lack of a cap and a fairly strong pre frontal trough again pretty much hosed the Saturday potential up here for the third week in a row. The early junk did lay down a few boundaries for some pretty severe warned storms with supercell characteristics in the evening as the cold front came through.

This is one of the weirdest mid-level shear funnels I think I have ever seen. Nearly horizontal and pointing in the direction the cell was moving.
