FULL CHASE ACCOUNT WITH VIDEO HERE

That slow moving cold front with a subtle shortwave riding up it proved to be one of the most damaging wind events in quite a while up here in Minnesota. Plan was to stay just ahead of the shortwave and east of the cold front in case something was able to break the cap in the pseudo warm sector. A very messy supercell did go up in northern McLeod county MN where it did produce a non rotating wall cloud before going totally HP:

However, the hail out of this storm near Dassel, MN was the real story:

Bailed south to catch the HP bow now racing northeast. Image is a 7 shot stitched pano taken north of Hutchinson, MN:

Followed it back northeast where Buffalo, MN got pounded by 50-70mph outflow out of the back of the bow. Image is a video frame of the downtown area getting slammed by huge wave coming off the lake:
