A series of heatbursts occured in southern Oklahoma tonight. I was able to find evidence of heatbursts across an area from Ardmore to Lane, OK. The mesonet site in Tishomingo reported the most dramatic temperature increase/dewpoint decrease accompanied by a wind gust to 51 mph.
At 9:40pm Tishomingo was reporting 79/69, the peak of the heat burst occurred when the T/Td reached 88/51 at 10:40pm. This was warmer than Tishomingo's afternoon high of 86°.
Often times heatbursts can be recognized on radar as thin and snaky areas of low-reflectivity associated with decaying thunderstorms.
