The Central Iowa Chapter of the National Weather Association will be hosting its 13th annual Severe Storms and Doppler Radar Conference April 2-4, 2009 in Des Moines, IA. Featured talks include....

* Tim Samaras - Cutting-edge Tornado and Lightning Field Projects
* Hurricane Ike impacts near Houston, TX
* Frank Billingsley, KPRC-TV, Houston, TX
* Hurricane Ike Midwestern windstorm
* 2008 Parkersburg IA EF-5 Tornado
* 2008 Picher OK EF-4 Tornado
* Record Midwestern Flooding
