It's not something that I think anyone chased, so that would limit the amount of chase discussion...

Early Saturday morning and an hour or two after the North Carolina tornadoes, radar showed a long broken band of small cells, almost border to border north to south, with a major bow (LEWP) northeast of the damage area. That afternoon, a friend of mine and I briefly chased the Virginia tornado watch, which was apparently triggered by a similar but weaker LEWP to our west. We were soon into that area and south of Centreville, but it went linear early and lined out. If anyone can retrieve the North Carolina radar that morning, it would be interesting to see this pattern for future chase reference.
